To view scanned images through the internet, you must have an Imaging program that is capable of viewing .tif files. Windows 95, 98, ME and 2000 Operating Systems all come with an Imaging program that is able to read this format. If you are running one of these operating systems, follow the steps below to create the association.
 

Step 1:

First click on the "go" button for the related image. A download box will show, asking "What would you like to do with this file?". Choose "Pick App..".

   

Step 2:

A dialog box asking you to choose the you want to use to open the file will display. The program to use will vary depending on your operating system. Normally, the path to the Imaging program will be "C:\WINDOWS\Kodakprv.exe"

For Windows 95: choose program "Kodakprv"
For Windows 98: choose program "Kodakprv"
For Windows ME: choose program "Kodakprv"
For Windows 2000: choose program "WangImg"
For Windows NT: choose program "WangImg"

Click OK
 

Step 3:

A dialog box asking whether to "Open it" or "Save it to disk". Choose "Open it". Make sure the "Always ask before opening this type of file" is un-checked, or you will always be asked this question every time you view an image. Click OK. You should now be able to view all images.
